Two New Databases: The Ocean Literacy Portal and the AQUACROSS Information Platform

From 4. September 2018

Two new databases have been launched that crosscut the thematic pillars of the OceanGov network:

With the aim of facilitating an ocean-literate society, the The Ocean Literacy Portal, developed by the IOC-UNESCO, is providing resources for students, educators, scientists, the media, policy makers and the private sector. It covers a variety of topics from Fisheries to Marine Policy and is free to access.

The AQUACROSS Information Platform is a database on aquatic ecosystem services, aimed at scientists in the field of aquatic ecosystems, biodiversity and Ecosystem-Based Management (EBM). It will serve as central access point for the AQUACROSS project, providing the research outcomes to the public.
